Upon successful completion of the course, students will have acquired:

a) Knowledge of the principal theoretical linguistic frameworks most commonly used in the development and annotation of linguistic resources.

b) Skills in the use of a range of linguistic resources, as well as in the automatic analysis of linguistic data using Natural Language Processing tools at the morphological and syntactic levels.

In addition, students will be able to conduct evaluation campaigns for tools used in lemmatisation, part-of-speech tagging, and dependency parsing. They will also be able to select appropriate resources and tools according to specific research or application needs.
