How to Apply?
For the 2025-2027 cohort, applications must be submitted here.
Applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree from a recognized higher education institution, corresponding to at least 180 ECTS, in a field relevant to the programme.
In order to apply for the European Master in Linguistic Data Science, applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree from a recognized higher education institution, corresponding to at least 180 ECTS, in a field relevant to the programme.
The consortium agrees on the B2.2 English or higher level to be admitted to the programme. Applicants who have passed the first round of evaluation are evaluated by the Joint Admissions and Examinations Committee, which prepares a ranking list based on the following criteria:
- Academic merit/relevant professional experience (34%)
- Motivation letter (33%)
- Letters of Recommendation (33%)
Applicants will be required the following documentation:
- Bachelor Degree Diploma
- Transcript of records with all courses and grades
- An updated resumé with relevant academic and work experience
- A motivation letter (max. 500 words), including future career prospects and research interest and preferential path
- A certificate or proof of English proficiency level
- Proof of current residence
- 2 Letter of recommendation
Candidates whose first language is English or who earned a degree taught exclusively in English are exempted from submitting proof of language proficiency. All other candidates must demonstrate proficiency in English by submitting standardized English language test scores. The consortium agrees on the B2.2 English or higher level to be admitted to the programme.
Student applications will be taken into consideration if they meet the minimum administrative, academic, and language proficiency requirements.
Applicants who have passed the first round of evaluation are evaluated by the Joint Admissions and Examinations Committee, which prepares a ranking list based on the following criteria:
The Joint Admissions and Examinations Committee might require an interview in order to clarify any questions that might arise from the application package. All candidates with scores above a minimum jointly decided by the Joint Admissions and Examinations Committee and the Consortium Board, on an year-by-year basis, will be offered a place in the programme.
Successful enrollment of admitted applicants is subject to the signing of a Student Agreement between students and the Consortium, outlining the rights and obligations of both parties.
