Project and Change Management

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

a) Understand the theoretical and conceptual foundations required to make ethical and sustainable strategic decisions regarding project selection, initiation, and change management in response to business and managerial challenges in both local and global contexts (knowledge);

b) Develop theoretical and conceptual knowledge of the design and application of traditional and agile project management methodologies, as well as structured and emerging approaches to change management (knowledge);

c) Analyse, interpret, and evaluate established project management tools and techniques, and apply them to plan project scope, schedule, resources, and budget, as well as change initiatives (intelectual skill);

d) Develop a medium- to long-term project plan as a team manager, incorporating project control, auditing, and closure processes (practical skill);

e) Demonstrate critical decision-making skills by identifying, assessing, and analysing project and change processes in complex environments, and by developing sustainable solutions through project plans and project charters (transferable skill).
